microLIQUID is a spin-off from the technological research centre Ikerlan-IK4 S.Coop., specialized in development of microfluidic products and services in polymers.

microLIQUID is located in Arrasate-Mondragón (Spain) and the project was initiated in 2006 from the MST deparment of Ikerlan-IK4.

About IKERLAN-IK4

Ikerlan-IK4 is a technological research centre located in Arrasate (Spain). It was created in 1974 and has a workforce of over 180 researchers.

Ikerlan Microsystems is specialised in the activities of promoting and spreading Microsystems technology towards the industry in the fields:

  • Mechanical microsensors.
  • Microfluidics/microanalitycal systems and microoptics.

Ikerlan-IK4 MST has a clean room full equipped with the latest micromechanical tools.

In addition to the our wide range of products, we offers our services for prototyping microfluidic chips from one unit to mass production. The service include the fabrication of the connectors to the macrofluidics.

microLIQUID offers standard microfluidic chips and encapsulates (chip holders and connectors). Our manufacture process allow us to integrate different designs and devices in one wafer, reducing time and cost of manufacturing.
